The visual and performing arts.

Does anyone in your family have any prejudice regarding people on the spectrum?

Yes, I have an uncle who believes the spectrum isn't real and that males who are on the spectrum will forever be weak in part because of not conforming to gender stereotypes.

Same question.

Special interest-cats

I know of nobody in my family who has an actual prejudice against people on the spectrum. Most of them know only of severe cases, however.

Same q. re autism spectrum

No prejudices in my family. My son, my nephew and I are all on the spectrum.

What is your favorite coffee shop?

Anywhere that is not Starbucks.

Did you grew up in a big city, small town, or a suburban area and do you still live in such an area?

I grew up in semi-rural suburbia. That describes my current living situation, too, but it's rapidly developing into suburban sprawl.

Same question.

The area of Portland that I am a native of has a "small town" vibe to it. In fact, I still live in the same area of Portland with my family.

Same question.

Big city. Still live in the same city.

What is the biggest misconception you run into often?

The belief that anyone who is NOT a Christian is retroactively "evil" and should be burned in Hell. Seriously, is that all those people EVER care about?! That just goes to show how ignorant, foolish, and judgmental those people are (not to mention that the Man HIMSELF is a Jew)! There are a LOT of other religions BESIDES just Christianity and Atheism, like Shintoism, Buddhism, Taoism, Judaism, Islam, Wicca (people tend to confuse it with Satanism. ), Paganism, Hinduism, Spirituality, and many others I may not know about. Those people tend to think they're being righteous, but they're just being intolerant scumbags who are NO WHERE NEAR better than the "opposite side" (if you can catch my drift). I'm just glad I'm Spiritually Episcopalian. Episcopalians accept anybody, and I'm more spiritual than religious.

Same question.

That all white American southerners are racist inbreeding rednecks who are poorly educated and love waving the Confederate flag in one hand and the American flag in the other.

That there are set criteria for being manly.

Do you organize your things by color?

Not really. My clothes are organised by type (summer blouse, summer cardigan, etc), and by colour to an extent, but it's not a huge obsession. I organise books and music by genre and then by alphabetical order. I used to love organising my plushies by species, and my coins by size or denomination.

When I had my own space, everything was ordered by color. I guess it wasn't too important, though, because now that everything is different it doesn't stress me out.

How many cups of tea or coffee have you had today?
