I'm back at home and I've enjoyed a day to myself.

I went to the Horticultural garden in Seattle today in Volunteer Park. The garden is running out of money due to budget cuts. It's been here for around a hundred years or so. My parents and I went there and donated money, and bought somethings in the gift shop. I got two magnets, a decorative bird, and some chapstick made from someone local. Then we went and had dinner. I had pear vodka, creme brulee, and for dinner, cheese quesadillas.

I also bought a back brush, some vaseline and lotramin for my feet, and a wide toothed comb so I can throw my brush away and start taking better care of my hair. And I got some kombucha tea and seaweed. My iodine levels are low, so the doc suggested eating kelp. Yummmmmm!

o-week at unsw today which for SA means we all have to shift into overdrive and get our butts down to uni to look for the most left wing people so they can become contacts. we made 20 contacts and 7 came to our meeting. i talked to a woman who'd been coming to rallies for some time and another who'd been reading our magazine on the web for a while too. one of the contacts lives 10minutes away from me. there are no left wing people where i live and certainly no SA members. a couple were very good and very well read. i spoke to people. also my comrade offered to lend me his copy of the rebel girl. i was really happy because now i wont have to read it on google books. whole moral dilema there. before i went home i got to cover a little bit of forest road with posters. and since it was o-week people kept pushing free stuff at me. i got free rice, free ice cone, free bag, free fortune cookies(i passed the same person 5 times and took a cookie each time. i was hungry.), free biscuits which i decorated with lollies, etc also i asked the military stall if having a pervasive developemental disorder precludes you from joining the military and they had no idea what a pdd was so i had to explain and they thought i wanted to join

I work today and after my shift, I'm going to buy some prenatal vitamins to get my hair growing.

i am relieved that the pest inspection report, and the building inspection report that i commissioned for a house i am buying revealed no problems. the house is viable, and soon it will be mine.
i have given a bank cheque for the 10% deposit to the lawyer, but she has not submitted it yet to the lawyers of the vendor because she made some amendments to the contract.

the amendments are just a formality. the main amendment is that the person who is renting the house i am going to buy must be out within 30 days, and she has not received confirmation of this, but the real estate agent told me he already has a place for the tenant to be relocated to.

i really want my deposit to be received by the vendor, because at that time, the house is not able to be sold to anyone else but me. i really want to pay for the full price of the house as soon as possible, but it is not possible to pay the full amount immediately because it is against the law. i have the money in my account and i am ready to go, but i must wait due to legalities until the contracts are exchanged.

i very much hope that some investor does not make a higher offer on the house, because it is still possible for them to do before my deposit cheque has been received by the vendors lawyers.

hopefully my lawyer will receive confirmation that the tenant will be out by 30 days tomorrow, and she will then forward my deposit, and then the house is almost mine. no one else can make an offer after my deposit has been received, but if i have a heart attack tomorrow and i have to spend $50,000 on medical bills or some other problem arises, then i will miss out.

i do not think that will happen, but i will be immensely happy when i complete the settlement and the house is mine.

i like the area the house is in very much and i am looking forward to getting away from my current rental location and paying nothing but yearly rates of $1000 to live there.

I almost have enough money saved up to buy a Kindle. Of course, then I've got to save up even more money so I can buy a few ebooks to go along with it. But I'm still happy with the amount I've currently saved up, because it's very hard for me to save money. Usually I spend it as soon as I earn it.

Im happy its my birthday.. and Im happy I got to post some youtube videos with my singing with my new microphone... woohooo

I'm happy. My dad is away and I'm drinking and enjoying some music.
