I would prefer to live in a more "rural"-type area than live in a big city like NYC.

I feel more relaxed in a rural area. I wouldn't mind living in a little trailer in a non-tornado/hurricane-prone area a few miles from a store. But I would like a good road nearby, not a dirt road.

Do you like living where you live?

Yes.

Same question.

apple pie, cheese cake, spaghetti, corned beef, beef jerky that's made right

That's what I'm thinking of right now.

Have you been afraid to ask someone to turn a TV off?

Not afraid, but I knew people who wouldn't listen when I told them to turn off the television. It became futile.

Have you been afraid to ask certain people to do something in general, because you knew they would be defiant/defensive or perhaps anxious about making a mistake?

Yes.

Do you feel confident when redecorating a room? (e.g., paint, paper, draperies).

Same question.

I've never completely redecorated a room, only made minor changes, so I'll pass the question on to someone who has.

I painted my old bedroom wall.
Not completely redecorated.

Do you ever feel like life doesn't need you anymore?
I hope not.

Redecoration isn't remotely my talent.

I believe life is better now than it was many years ago, even at it's most comfortable. I didn't have many social opportunities, but that has changed.

Same q. re. life

I feel like life has never needed me. I really don't have anything to contribute in any way. That's a major cause of my depression, I think.

Do you enjoy, dislike, or are indifferent about showers?

I dislike showers, I find them tedious and uncomfortable. I put on music to help me get through it and I tend to regularly shower anyway because I know it's important even if I hate it.

Same question.
