Einstein’s General Relativity equation. Elegant, simple, and very obvious once you understand it. It’s the only equation that made me literally slap my forehead and say, “Of Course!”.

What’s your favorite recipe?

Biology.

Theology, or philosophy?

Philosophy, given that theology is a part of philosophy.

You mean the field equations, I suppose? My intuition about tensors has always been pretty poor, but on my limited acquaintance, they struck me as being rather cumbersome, rather like Maxwell's equations. Nothing, to my mind, beats the beauty of the Schrödinger equation, although like every other undergraduate, I was disappointed to learn that it can't in any true sense be derived.

About 2 or 3.

Same question.

Theology can be said to be a part of philosophy—but it is its own discipline, too.

None.

Do you prefer corked or screw-on wine bottles?

Probably screw-on, by a slight margin. I don’t drink wine.

Plastic, or glass bottles?

Glass because it can be recycled.

Do you take recycling seriously and respect the environment?

Yes, I recycle whenever I can, even if it means taking something home or washing something out.

Do you watch a lot of TV?

I used to watch TV a lot, until recently, I started using my free time for more productive things and then I tend to forget to watch TV a lot more often.
When you believe your boyfriend / girlfriend is cheating on you, do you dump them immediately or you look into it first and try to find out whats going on?

Never had a girlfriend; I believe in marriage.

Do you use handkerchiefs?

Yes, much to the disgust of the younger generation.

Does marriage preclude girlfriends?

After you’re married, it does.

Good point. I'd be okay with having a "girlfriend", but only on the understanding that there would be no sexual intercourse until the night of our marriage - that is, as a prelude to marriage. I don't think this is what most people understand by the term.

Why would anyone be disgusted by the use of handkerchiefs?

Because you carry them around with you even once they've been used, as opposed to disposable tissues. I don't mind the use of a handkerchief, but I hate the feeling of storing it up my sleeve like people do. I don't know how they can bear it against their wrist.

Do you believe in reincarnation?
