I know the name. Never read him. Isn’t he supposed to be decadent, too?

Do you believe William Blake was the First Romantic?

No.

I've never read Swinburne, though I believe he was a member of the Decadent movement. The only decadent in literature I care for is Baudelaire.

Have you read Les Fleurs du Mal?

I’ve read snippets of Baudelaire.

What do you consider William Blake to be?

I find him to be a liberating force in English literature, though I guess his personal conduct could have been better.

A moderately interesting English mystic.

Have you read anything by Bertrand Russell?

No, I haven't.

Has anyone wanted to keep giving you high fives or something similar after just meeting him/her?

Have you ever had one of those telephone conversations where you say "You hang up!", "No, you hang up!" ?

I once had one of those back in the 1980s. I had spoken to this woman on the phone for 11 hours. Totally Platonic, by the way.

Same question.

I translated a few of his one liners in school, I think.

Yes. At least, in the future possibly when I'm gone.
It's on my driver's licence.
