No, never been in there.

Have you ever been to one of the tourist traps - Mme Tussaud's, Planetarium, London Eye, etc?

Hate that sort of thing. I'd like to go in the Eye, but I refuse on principle. The Shard is better, anyway.

Do you prefer the Tate Britain or Tate Modern?

Never visited either.

Would you want to visit France, Italy, or Spain?

Probably Top-40 Rock from the 50's through the 70s.

Tomorrow, it might be acoustic blues from the Mississippi Delta region.

Same question.

It's a tossup between "Irish Traditional" and "World".

Same question.

Classical. My favourite composers are Dmitri Shostakovich, JS Bach and WA Mozart, three very different composers whom I admire for very different reasons. My favourite conductor is Herbert von Karajan and my favourite pianist is Sviatoslav Richter. I have little time for any performers currently alive, though I like Martha Argerich's and Anne Sophie-Mutter's old recordings with Abbado and Karajan respectively. I do like Gergiev though I dislike Vasily Petrenko's interpretation of Shostakovich.

I also like (mainly) old, easy-listening type music, as long as it hasn't got too much percussion in it and doesn't involve too much singing. I also like a few pop musicians: Cliff Richard, Rod Stewart and The Seekers are a few examples. I dislike The Beatles and am frankly astounded that adults, some of them three times my age, still listen to rubbish like The Rolling Stones.

I also like old English, Irish, French, German and American folk songs, as well as traditional church music (mainly Anglican).
