Q: How often do you get colds?

almost never as far as i know, but i'm not sure.

how many genuine friends do you have? i'd say none but i'm trying.

Very few if any that would pass the rigors of the friendship test.


What type of person do you get along best with- have most in common?

Outcasts. All of my friends in elementary school were either foreigners or came from poor families, and as a teenager I hung out with a lot of goths, gays and nerds. Nowadays I tend to hang out with people who have mental illnesses or are just socially awkward in general.

Do you see "shadow people" when you go outside? I'm not talking about actual shadows; I mean shady moving figures that are there one minute and gone the next.

Sometimes, I will get the sensation of movement at the periphery of my field of sight. I think it must be my mind playing tricks on me.

pet peeves? oh, when people make absolutely no attempt at correctly pronouncing a foreign person's name or the name of a foreign object or activity- karaoke is an example- it is pronounced "KA-dA-OH-KEH" and NOT "carry-oh-kee" - that just grates on my ears. hard american "R"s improperly used in foreign words, are a double-plus-ungood thing.

pet peeves fully deserves its own thread, and it would be a busy one, i can see from here.

Q- pick ONLY one- being pseudo-retired in a tin can out in the woods far from civilization, and living a rudimentary existence-

being a sharp and buff yuppie having fun in a shiny brand-spanking-new hip pad in the city close in to everything, but being stuck in a rat-racing salary slave mode until you're old and stooped and gray?

Why? Because the nearer things get to being that yuppie in the city the less real they become, and the more complicated they become. To be stuck in a rut having to sustain this and, presumably, terrified of failing to do so must be a hell on earth.

How big a house (or tin hut ) would be ideal? One with a conservatory, living room, day room, study, three or more bedrooms - or just three reasonably sized rooms?
