Yes, a ghost guy in my parents' kitchen when I was a teenager. I also got hit by a fork in my kitchen in this house. No one else was here, and I was in the middle of the room. It flew off the counter somehow and smacked me. It sounds funny but I have no explanation for it.

most recently, in a little mom and pop store, in front of several witnesses with mouth agape, a package of chips from a rack sailed about 6 feet through the air and landed with a thud at the feet of one of them. when my folks passed away, one night i was in their house alone, and all of a sudden the most horrendous howling, banging, booming, rumbling squealing noise issued forth from the basement, and after about a minute of this, i shouted "OK ALREADY I HEAR YOU!!" and the noise instantly stopped.

I should mention that the fork hit me in the chest, which was higher than the height of my counter. I have no idea how it went up, and across the room about two metres to smack me. It didn't hit me very hard, but it smacked into me and dropped to the floor.

Oh, one more. I was videotaping in my grandmother's house after she died, to remember the house. Her music box started playing. The music box hadn't played for years and the mechanism was broken inside. I have this on video. I should dig it up. (It's the tiny little video cassette tapes from 20 years ago).

Do you think clowns are creepy?

in the abstract, no. granted, i have not seen a clown up close and personal. talk show host george noory famously is creeped out by clowns, however.
