When i was a kid my mom wd cut them off but miss the ones at the sides or the way she cut them still left a portion kn which wd be horrible

I never thought i could rip them off till i saw Someone do it when i was an adult. In fact i think it wasmy XH...

Yes I do. I have Gephyrophobia for example which is a fear of bridges. I learned recently that I'm not alone and that some of the most notable bridges offer a free service to people who have such a fear whereby an employee will drive the person's car over the bridge for them while the person sits as a passenger in their own car until they're over the bridge.
