Unfortunately you have to upload them to a photo hosting site like imageshack or photobucket first (Photobucket works ok for me). Copy the link they give you from the photo you want to add. Then above the reply box here on WP there is a little landscape type picture next to the YouTube one, click on that and paste the link. Finger crossed it should work. :P

Why the f**k did Tinypic delete my mugshot pic from their servers after it only being up for one day? Inappropriate content? NSFW-face?

I don't know Tinypic so it's possibly off-beam - but were you running a free account? I suspect there would be no guarantee at all of availability if it was.
