70 degrees is normally our daytime high 8O

In any case, it's 59 or some s**t.

Yes, those people were lucky. All the deaths in Virginia from Hurricane Irene were caused by fallen trees. Some of my neighbors are great but they don't stay very long because most of them are in military and either go out to sea or are transferred after a little while.

It's 83 F and mostly cloudy. We've been getting a little sunshine every now and then ourselves. :sunny:

Hmm...a post-tropical hurricane near the outer hebrides in 5 days time...interesting...
No hurricane has ever hit the UK, but one hit Ireland in 1961.

Cloudy, there's been rain and sun today, but mostly cloud - 16 (61) right now.
