A photo of me right now???
Normally I don't like to post in this sort of thing, but I am just so darn dapper right now that I couldn't resist.

For once.

And you think being here will help ? At least no one will go on the attack :wink:

I'd do you if I could be bothered to be sexual , I'll even change my name to Peter Singer if it would help. :wink:

I think one good thing about having a "friend" is sharing yummy vegan food with them my Italian "friend " is quite useless to me in that regard , a typical Italian stereotype ie a stupid baby I made some pakorahs with tamarind sauce he smelt it suspiciously and took a tiney bite and spat it out . It's grated vegetable with chickpea flour fried in oil for %^&*s sake whats so "exotic"or unusual about that? is this guy suffering from some debilitating phsycological problem or is that just part of being Italian I wonder ? (Jamie Oliver even remarked their the biggest pains in the but in that regard.

I wouldn't have dared to get him to try my unami rich extreme mc2 tempeh "ribs" with mashed potato (I like to add finely chopped spring onions to the mash.)

Anyways I grilled some Tempeh with tones of unami rich ingredients such as "oyster" sauce (made from mushroom) balsamic, marmite, fresh herbs from the garden, soy sauce, Indonesian soy sauce, tomato paste , brown sugar grilled in oven for approx 10 minutes , baste twice.

Plated on a big white plate topped with orange chiffonade *which was fried in EV olive oil to make it nice and sweet and sticky , topped with cracked pepper and torn parsley , it looked like a gooey lovely colorful mess , but what a mess!

* finely chopped orange peel

Are you trying to seduce me with tales of your vegan cooking skillz? :)

Well yes I've got nothing else to offer you. :P

Than again perhaps not (hit and miss) sadly made a parsnip gratin last night it only turned out so so , I should have blanched them 1st that and the stupid oven isn't fan forced so the top was mushy and the bottom was still "crisp"

Oh well you live and learn if I was still a meat eater I'd still be burning dead animal on the grill and serving it up with frozen veg :wink:

here is me a few days ago at Dead Horse Bay in Brooklyn. i spent about 6 hours digging through antique garbage washed out of an old landfill by the sea. by the end of the day, tiny cuts all over my hands were bleeding, i had sand everywhere, my hair was a rats' nest, and my feet were aching.... but i was in PARADISE!! !!

To submit, or not to submit, for that is the question]
Whether I have the nerve to submit my image,
I think I will launch my arrow & just submit my photo,
Quick turn your monitor off, before it blows. :wtg:
