OH MY GOD YES!! !! i didn't take much with me, but i found loads of interesting things, mostly from the 1950s. like... sealed sodapop bottles with orange pop still inside. and old purses and wallets and shoes and medicine bottles and shower curtains and floor tiles and faucets and an ink bottle (with ink inside) and eyeglasses and newspapers and a gun (probably a prop, all rusted up).

the best objects were ones i excavated out of the banks. the painted labels on the pop bottles would stay intact until i touched them and the newpapers disintegrated in my fingers. i got one shot of a paper:

I don't want to seem bitchy or anything, but I wish people would use this thread for it's intended purpose - 'Post a pic of yourself RIGHT NOW'.

It seems to have become a 'wastebasket thread' for any old picture of people throughout any time in their lives.

Sorry to be such a grumpy bastard but I'm kind of a stickler when it comes to thread 'derailments' and such.

lol its funny u would say i did use this thread to dump all my pictures after seeing people post pictures that were obviously old btw this forum has like 100 different threads i rather dump my photos in the most popular thread this one instead of the other old ones collecting dust but i do get what you are saying

I see your point too. I tend to put any new thread I make in 'Random Discussion' (unless it's Autism related) for the same reasons, otherwise they won't be seen or noticed. It's a shame.

I wasn't just mentioning you in particular though. I've seen loads of pictures from others on this thread which are not really related to this topic and it just gets on my nerves.
