Not sure why I am thinking about this at 1:30 in the morning, but why is it people sometimes have a hard time believing that its possible you can be skinny and at an unhealthy weight. Not to mention that it can even have health consequences.....then people think you're being an attention whore because who could possibly complain about being too skinny

Because society has brainwashed them into believing the skinnier the better. If the body has a bit of fat on it anywhere, it is BAD according them. Which is nonsense as there is always fat in the body (we'd die without it) and it accumulates where it does. That and larger framed (boned) people are MEANT to carry more weight (they are NOT fat) but are also picked on. And some are truly overweight but still good and productive people but are shunned. Society is so obsessed with looks rather then what is important.

Off-topic but that is why you can be the best at whatever job you are doing. But if you don't fit in socially, chances are you won't last long before they find a replacement. Has happened to me more then once. Just because I didn't like socializing, going out drinking after work, playing golf, or being on the bowling league. Society in general is messed up IMHO and focuses on the WRONG things. Sadly many of us who could do well don't fit into this mold thus creating all manner of problems.

In the past (before WWII and even further back), our kind were far more accepted. They didn't try to make everybody conform and accepted them for who they were and what their abilities were. Thus most all could contribute and be part of society. These days you nearly need a college degree to be a sanitation engineer (used to be garbage man but not PC). Even doing landscaping and so forth they want a bloody degree just so you can cut the grass, trim bushes, and plant posies. Like wtf!?!?

I can at least follow the rule, sort of, and remember what a problem my obsession is. Some things I am not ready for though, and will not let go of unless forced.

This is the next century
Where the universal's free
You can find it anywhere
Yes, the future has been sold
Every night we're gone
And to karaoke songs
How we like to sing a long
Although the words are wrong

It really, really, really could happen
Yes, it really, really, really could happen
When the days they seem to fall through you, well just let them go

No one here is alone, satellites in every home
Yes the universal's here, here for everyone
Every paper that you read
Says tomorrow is your lucky day
Well, here's your lucky day

It really, really, really could happen
Yes, it really, really, really could happen
When the days they seem to fall through you, well just let them go

Well, it really, really, really could happen
Yes, it really, really, really could happen
When the days they seem to fall through you, well just let them go

Just let them go

I listened to some songs from my youth in the 90s and I can understand why I couldn't relate to them, even back than. They all seem to be about clubbing and parties.

I can believe that I live in the country, because the mobile phone service is so inconvenient. Even with all that, I still don't have a pet tanuki.

Why can't a person appreciate something beautiful without being mocked for it?
