"If it's big, and broken, we're gonna fix it on Worlds Toughest Fixes"
Really? I thought they'd be talking about ponies.

Apparently it's the noise produced by hitting someone.

Also it's some form of homework.

I see now. I thought it meant something else.

Th-th-th-then why'd you *WHAP* me?
The same question arises when you're playing Portal or Portal 2. When you kill a turret, it says something completely adorable and innocent, but when you stand where it can see you, it kills you.

I love my kitty. He's sitting right across from me as I type this.

It's very fascinating how realistic video game graphics are these days. 8)

I went to go run a mile a while ago. When I was done, I could barely breathe and now whenever I try to walk, my legs feel like jelly. So I can barely walk either.

WHAP stands for World History AP, and it is also the sound of someone hitting someone. :D

I hate running the mile. But then again, I hate running in general. I much prefer swimming.

I can't even run without getting out of breath.

I hate running too. I ran because I was afraid I'd gain a lot of weight after a month or so of eating junk food and isolating myself in my room.

I agree. Swimming's better, but my asthma acts up whenever I do anything athletic, so I don't feel that much better while swimming either.

Errrrmmmm........ How are you meant to say the name of that town??

It's pronounced CATCH-a-can.

Well that's not what I was expecting....

I was looking at the word 'Tongass' on the buildings and assumed it was the name of the area.

Soooo, how is that word pronounced?

That I don't know.

Some place pronunciations can be rather weird.

For example, the island nation of Kiribati (in the central Pacific) is pronounced "Kiribass" Another example, Tonga (in the South Pacific), is actually pronounced "Tona", and Pago Pago (capital of American Samoa) is pronounced "Pango Pango".

Don't even get me started on all the places in Africa that are have "Gb", "Mb", "Ng", etc., as the first two letters.

I think that the skeleton look is a turn off.
