Ventilation systems in general excite me to this day, there is nothing like a grille.

In fact I'm hoping to find a grille friend soon, though I may have to make some airy conditions.

speaking of venting, when i was a little kid i used to be fascinated with HVAC grilles and outlets, and when i'd see one i'd point to it and shout "HEEDUR!!"

Yeh grilles and outlets for me too. Especially the ones on top of food delivery vans that spin as the vehicle moved.

No, but I would have a psychological orgasm. There's something going on in this sense like a fascination with false limbs.

is a "psychological orgasm" as good as the other kind?

No - as adult orgasm includes psychological as well as physical, and if you've got the right partner there is a sort of litany / astronomical / spiritual thing available through unorthodox channels (I'm not really a one for having values).

The child psychological orgasms of mine were giddy obsession things, pissy in comparison and pubeless. Bit morbid sometimes as well, compulsions.

Transfixed by disused isolation hospitals, obsessed with the word isolation.

Here's a thing, I read once of a theory that if you enter some derelict buildings, spores in the air can have a hallucinogenic effect, which accounts for the familiar feeling of foreboding / hauntedness. I was addicted to dereliction for a while.

"in the room the women come and go" (Eliot) though more f*****g go than come in my case. It's like an emotional flicker book, sometimes a Fassbinder (RW) film, sometimes a Beckett play.

They are terribly, terribly unreliable those people things.

Gay people I've known seem to have it worse. You can always take advantage of yourself though :D

Yeh (spores) - dunno if the article I read was written by someone who had researched it or not, but it was a theory of why people feel hauntings / presences / enormous sadnesses / crying or footsteps or whatever.

Also (from Stephen Fry the famous British Homosexualist) there is a theory that because Patmos is a place where those red and white amanita mushrooms grow (where the book of revelations was written), that the author could just as well have been called Saint John the Tripping out of his Skull.

who knows? but my older sister and hospice nurses all reported seeing my dad's body literally giving up the ghost on his deathbed.
