Ahhhh I thought you meant about your lamp.

Meh, maybe I could just walk in them and wreck the blades - maybe unscrew them and take them off. Yeah, that'd be a better idea.

I remember a few years ago the car park of the local leisure centre / swimming pool was all frozen over and would have made a brilliant rink.

Should of mentioned that in the sentence, it was my bad. Sounds like ski boots would be perfect for you then, big and clunky with no blades. Not been skiing in ages now, wouldn't mind going back at some point. I remember I used to go to my local rink regularly and could skate quite fast and got offered a trial for the hockey team. Didn't do it as I was terrible at hockey!

I need something to drink.

I tried out for a hockey team a couple of years ago! I like Ice Hockey and used to follow it. I'm alright at skating but when I have to do that AND try to control a puck at the same time it all goes terribly. I scored a goal once though!

It was an hour's drive though, and practice sessions were from 11pm to 1.30am.... I only did two sessions before I decided it was too much of a commitment for someone so bad at it. Also a few of the others on the team were jerks who mocked me. They just seemed to be into hockey as it made them 'hard'. A couple of the guys seemed alright but most were just thugs.

Control was my weak point as well when we used to do field hockey in school. Could hit it fine, but control was a nightmare. I don't think I would of carried on with those hours either, seems a bit bizarre to me. The tough act can be the curse of a lot of sports unfortunately, some people are way too competitive and want to be better than everyone around them. I do enjoy sport in general, but not when its taken as life or death.

Its moments like these that make me think to myself why I havent commited suicide over my crossed eyes, glasses, and the occasional fainting spell. (always infront of a large crowd of people. nevertheless, )

I don't see why people call suicide the 'coward's way out'. Personally I think it takes a hell of a lot of courage (sometimes just a hastily made bad decision though).

true. ending your own life seems to take alot of courage, I think why people say "its the cowards way out" is because thats whats been ingrained into thier thinking all these years. people in sociaty like to be like everyone else, so alls anyone has to do is say its a cowards way out. now magically they also believe it

once they stop and relise just how couragous of an act it actually is, forget it. they never get this far. Lol

I have the same problem too; I try to ditch a pair before my mom and my sister both find out
and go ape-shit on me. I got my currrent pair back in April and they're still good, relatively speaking.

Tommorow, I am going to attend a wedding for the daughter of a family friend with my mother and my sister.
My sister and I are not happy about going because my mom will be ordering my sister & I to act social, when all my sister and I want is to focus on work we have to do for school.

I love long summer evenings. Summer is my favourite season.
