There has been a heat wave for the past several days (past week?) in my area, with temperatures consistently in the triple digits (Fahrenheit). The air quality is very poor from the smoke from all the wildfires in southern Idaho that the heat is causing. I'm starting to get very restless from not being able to go outside and do my running.

PS - The wildfires aren't too close to where I live, thankfully, so you don't have to worry about me. :)

I got my middle finger cut on something today, and it started to bleed a little. So I stuck out the finger at a friend and asked her to sniff to see if she could smell the blood. She grabbed my finger and almost snapped it. :lmao:

Never again... never again.

I actually didn't realize which finger I was sticking out until she grabbed it and shouted at me for sticking it at her.

That's good. The Eastern part of Oregon has a ton of wildfires as well as a result of this damn heatwave. I live in the west, but I'm worried about all the people in the east. :?

Oh yeah, I heard Oregon was getting hit pretty hard with the wildfires too. Glad to hear you're OK. Stay safe!

Makayla and IdahoRose here in Australia we get nasty bushfires in the summer we had one in 2009 black Friday it was worse then Ash Wednesday.

I hope the fire fighters can get the fires out and that you will be safe.

At least wildfires here in Oregon aren't as bad as they were in Utah, Colorado, the Dakotas, and all other states where they've been hit very bad with wildfires, mostly caused by lightning & thunder storms; even though wildfires begin quite often without any notice.

I did hear a few days back on the news on people on the East Coast are starting to get a bit of a break from the heat wave, which is really good to hear.
