I can never get the word 'Bingo' completely out of my mind. Oh, sometimes I ignor it and a few months pass and it seems it really is finally gone... but like a bad penny always returns as inane and useless a thought as ever.

*sings* I can show you the world...

...Oh, nope, not that part of the world. It's too... unsanitary.

There's a hint as to why I like the 80s, almost as much as I like the 60s. Can anyone guess what it is?

thinking about how insensitive it is to force a autist to make eye contact. if its rude for us not to make it on the basis that it makes others uncomfortable and makes them think you are not paying attention then is it not far worse to force somebody to look you in the eye if you know how it makes them feel. isnt that rude or selfish or demonstrative of a lack of empathy? i wonder if this argument is something i can use when i do not make eye contact next oral presentation?

^I wish WP had a "like" button.
Almost a week ago I went to the doctor with my mom. She got into a rage because
A) I did not look the doctor in her eyes
B) I spoke in a very low voice, which is really pretty normal for me
C) I used a lengthy English medical term because I wasn't sure of the Chinese translation
D) Refused to take any medicine. My problem was neither urgent nor life-threatening, and it did not cause me any unfavorable effects.
I'm not trying to say that by having an ASD, you can get away from things. I merely hope not to get yelled at for these reasons. :(

I've said this before and I'll say it again: It looks like I graduated school just in time. I couldn't handle longer school days or longer school years or both.

I feel the same way about school. My high school was starting to get a little sleazy, anyways.

If you can afford to and can take care of it, then yes.

...for around 30 years: they live long (and prosper) and get very attached to their keepers. It's more like a parrot marriage than owning a pet.

Entire conversation between me and my sister:

Sis: *looking at a list of movie times I wrote on the 17th* Why did you write all of these movie times down?
Me: You don't remember? We went to see a movie that day.
Sis: No, why did you write all these movie times down?
Me: *facepalm* So I didn't have to check the computer to remember movie times. But that was a WEEK ago.
Sis: OHHH! I remember writing a list for [friend's name]. 'Kay byee!
Me: O-O
