Wow, your handwriting is neat! Even your Chinese handwriting!

My mom keeps wanting me to improve on mine. I don't think that's going to happen anytime soon.

I have returned to my classic special interests of Tim Burton/Johnny Depp movies and My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. I have spent a good deal of this year exploring other interests, but after failing to connect with anything, I realized that nothing makes me happier than the interests I had before. I will still keep one eye out for anything that may develop into a new interest, but for now I will let my mind relax with my tried-and-true favorites. It was really stupid of me to try to force new interests to develop while trying to prematurely end my old ones. You have to let interests come and go naturally.

I die a little inside each time I make a grammatical error.

Glad you seem pretty stable at the moment. I've been reading through your posts documenting your fluctuating interests the last few months or so and it must be so frustrating for you, and coupled with the mourning of previous interests it can't be pleasant.

Yeah, I think the best advice is what you said about letting them come and go naturally. And you can still love a topic even if you don't actively seek it like you used to.

i dont know if i should go to the wedding i was invited to at all. they will not miss me. we are not close. i have been weighing up the possibility of a meltdown and it is high. i always do at these things. the wedding itself is at a private residence which means there will only be one toilet available for me to meltdown in and i can't do that because what if somebody else needs it? i have been stressing about this for a few weeks now. i do not know if i should click attending. i am most certainly not going to the reception.

If I ever go through this again I swear I'll meltdown to the high heavens. This morning I wrapped my retainers in a piece of tissue and left them there on the table. My grandma tossed them in the trash without checking the contents first. I came home, took a shower and looked for those retainers. Couldn't find 'em so I freaked out. I calmed down, and started to sift through every trashcan in the household, including kitchen waste. I've found them, finally, but it was one hell of a worst case scenario.

Monobactams have a single lactam ring, resist penisellense and destroy aerobic gram negative bacteria such as E. coli

Cynodonts are fascinating, the first mammals evolved from them, and they look like dogs :D

Thanks for your support. :) I keep expecting people to lose their temper with me because my fluctuating interests are all I talk about these days, both online and in real life. But to my pleasant surprise, a lot of people have been very patient and supportive of me, which I appreciate more than words can express.

And yeah, you're right - I am very frustrated over my constantly fluctuating interests. A stable interest is the one thing that I want more than anything else in life right now. I just want something, anything, to obsess over and to call my own. At this point I don't care what it is.

The reason that I haven't been on WP as much as I usually am, is because I've been watching the Olympics. I still make the odd post every hour and I post in the evening when I have time. I didn't leave or anything like that. You're all family to me, so I wouldn't even dream of doing anything like that. Now you know. 8)
