It seems that when someone uses the outside tap it makes the shower go cold, as I just found out.

I'm working on LAMP, getting quite used to the MP bit of it, not sure how to Linux. How does one linux? How does it differ from just using it?

I love reading in the summer and it is a great way to pass the time (especially when the book is good).

Oh well, my laptop's fan has stopped working. No way of opening it (to check) without breaking something; might have to send it back to HP. That's... hum. Annoying. I can't play games, and even staying on Firefox for a few hours can really heat it, since the fan is off. Checked my BIOS, nothing to do with it. I just have to let it rest a few minutes to let it manage to cool off, unless I get emergency shutdowns due to high temperatures.

A semi-truck passed me, in an open area with no other vehicles around. Then he "wiggled" the massive truck back and forth a dozen times across the highway before straightening, & driving properly straight. It was like he was playing.
What a strange thing to do, and kind of dangerous.

Dark Shadows is coming to DVD on October 2nd! I know that I have criticized it pretty harshly in the past, but that was only because my expectations for it were so unrealistically high when it first came out. My mom says that "[I] was expecting the next Alice in Wonderland [my favorite Tim Burton & Johnny Depp movie], when nothing could ever compare to [my] love for that."

I'm actually feeling pretty excited to watch Dark Shadows again, now that I've had a couple of months to cool off and I know what to expect. Besides, I read that the BluRay/DVD combo pack will include an extended edition, which I've been hoping for since I heard that lots of key scenes of plot and character development were cut in the theatrical release.

I'll be posting very little until the Olympics are finished. I do like to pop into the WP cyberbuilding in the evenings during the Olympics though. It's a refreshing change of pace. I'll be posting my usual amount once more in a week and a half. I hope that all of you have been having fun on WP over the past 7 days. I've also been doing payed surveys online as well.

Melbourne Anime Festival is on august 17. I am going to it.

My house is now nothing short of clean white perfection.

i think i have decided not to go to comrades wedding. not the ceremony, not the reception. it is just too risky to put myself in a situation where i will have a meltdown and where i will have nowhere to go if i do. i am not that much of a masochist. now i need a lie to spin. something of a relief, i must say.

I'm currently working on two pictures:

1) a ponyfied version of the Mad Hatter (Johnny Depp version)

2) a humanized Rainbow Dash with Sweeney Todd and their son that I made up. In the picture, Sweeney is holding their son and the son and Dash are both pulling on Sweeney's cheeks trying to make him smile. Sweeney has a look on his face like "Please kill me" I'll post it after I'm done (which should be in a couple of days). But I'm warning you, the anatomy is absolute crap. The only thing I got right was the faces and hair (as is par for the course with my art).

What if cheeseburgers are an alien device to make us addicted to cheese, so when they invade we are more docile?
