I think people tend to forget that most of our parents are probably NT. For every person here that stereotypes every NT as some fake tanned jock phallus, it gives someone the excuse to class every ASD person as some scrawny mentally ret*d speech impedimented card counting pasty skinned greasy haired acne ridden human calculator who's never gotten laid and is far too overly fond of their own opposite gender parent.
Such a perfect description of yourself, I couldn't have put it better.
If I'm perfectly honest, I would much rather be a fake tanned jock phallus if it meant better mental health.

I know my mum is anyway, as are most of my friends. Making stereotypical assumptions of one entire group of people like that is no better than those making fun of people that are diagnosed. Besides, not everyone on the spectrum is going to be a sheer delight to talk to, no group of people is superior to another. Quite a list you made there, I hope all of those haven't been used on you.
Thankfully not. (apart from the acne ridden thing - that one was true a few years ago).
It's unfortunate that so many people on WrongPlanet feel it's their right to look down on NTs. It shows such blatant arrogance, although this is merely a disguise to mask their jealousy and bitterness at themselves. If they were truly so proud of themselves and comfortable with the way they are they wouldn't feel such a constant need to boost their egos and waste their o so valuable time bitching about others.
They overcompensate for their own frustration at themselves.

That's good you weren't taunted as badly as that then. I think its made by a simple connection. This is a forum primarily used for support and advice, and when someone is giving them a hard time it will mostly likely be an NT. Making all NT's bad in their eyes. We are all just people, sharing/not sharing a disorder shouldn't cloud our judgement. Its easy to dwell on our problems and blame shortcomings on others opposed to trying to better ourselves in different aspects for a better life. But which would feel more rewarding in the long run?
