What are you doing this weekend?

as usual, nothing unusual
for today shopping with hub, that's so-so, the chaotic impulses going everywhere, i better make an iron list of musts,
already he found there was some loose money and the urge to spend that ---sigh---
still the evening clock of six o clock, going on as well, i forget these things-------oh s**t i have no mask(s)
they got lost when the same person used my car, i do not find that amusing at all

Today I'm going to try to get some decent photos of me. I'm going to get some exercise. My stretch goal is to do at least a little choreography. Tomorrow I have no plans, and that stretch goal needs some attention, so really I have no excuses.

It's my daughter's birthday tomorrow as well as mother's day in the UK. So we're going to have a very low key aspie party of just us two to celebrate the occasion. So I expect that will involve gaming the majority of the time. I might do some studying once she goes to bed, but I've been saying that for 6 weeks now.... So we got a food shop coming first thing and a cake also. My own parents live to far away to visit considering we're not allowed to stay over at the moment.

As for today I waited in for a cake that never came.... plus some last minute presents. Otherwise chores. Boring I know but it does as you get older unfortunatly.

So since it's mothering sunday here tomorrow, how is your relationship with your parent/s?

My relationship with them is good, and (very luckily) always has been. I make sure to remind them of how much I love them regularly, because they deserve to hear it!

They've become less frequent in recent years and while I feel like I'm inside a beehive when I'm there I'm happy to see my close relatives that I haven't seen in a year or two. Draining but necessary.

Do you like shrimp, and if so, hot or cold, and how do you like it served? (boiled some shrimp with spices this evening)

I love shrimp, but I have no personal preference of how it should be served.

Do you like Chinese takeout and if you do, what are your favorite entrees?

I do, but I don't go often enough to have a favorite. If I went right now I'd order beef & broccoli, and pork fried rice.

Actually, I do. I like curries. Indian food is comfort food to me.

Do you eat out often, and what kind of meal is it?

I almost never eat out. I don't like going to restaurants alone. Not even fast food.

Pre covid yes, currently no, post covid probably. I hate making food for just me.

Do you prefer to talk or message people?

I'm a creature that predated texting and my social circle shrunk before texting really picked up, so I didn't start until very recently, and don't have many people to text with. My parents text more than I do. I text primarily with my parents regarding short and simple things like if I'll come over for dinner or not. I did use to chat on chat platforms some 15 years or so. I do have social anxieties so I do prefer email and chat over phone calls, at least initially. I do pick up the phone and call when needed.

I prefer to message/email everytime. I hate phone calls as i have 4 bars and still my signal drops out, plus lack of body language. I can chat in person but that leaves me social exhausted except for a select few. Video chat in this case is probably the best.
