Ooh that's horrible when it happens. When I was 15 I had ingrown toenails on both big toes and they got infected. My toes were like vast cauldrons of puss filled bloody oozing lava. It hurt so much and I used to be scared that they were rotting away and I'd lose my toes. I went to A&E once when I was getting ready for school because my left big toe basically exploded in it's bandage (this was after the nails had been operated on - they were still infected). I had big bandages on both toes and had to wear sandles for about a month.

Yeah, anyway, my shoes are pretty much ruined on the insides already. :x

The toe rubbing thing is the worst I've had with my feet so that is quite horrid in comparison! I wouldn't like the sandle wearing part either as I hate the feeling of them, even on holiday I stick to my trainers. Don't think I envy your 5am wake up either, hope your day goes well tomorrow.

Thanks. It went well. Very busy though and as I was taking all the food out of the chiller it all fell off the trolley it was stacked on as there is a 3 1/2 inch step into the chiller. About 3 quarters of the salad went all over the floor and I wasted a lot of time clearing it all up and replenishing what had been spilled. I caught up alright though.

I'm a very bad cat mummy...
...didn't realise one of my cats water dishes (1 of 3 water dishes - I hadn't actually let them go thirsty) was dry until my tom Ding tried drinking my coke...when I went to fill-up their dish he stood on his hind legs to investigate the dish as if to point out 'mummy, it's DRY!'

I'm going to have some toast and then I'm going back to bed until....I dunno. That impulse buy roast chicken worked out well though, so I'll get to have some late dinner when I get up.

it really annoys me when people are grossly out of touch with the world, especially if they are studying something that mandates they be aware of it. today in intro to criminal justice we were discusing mitigating factors in a hypothetical senario and im like "some people steal out of poverty- they mightnt be able to survive without cheating a little on their groceries or have clothes to wear if they didnt steal them" and she was like "i dont think this is an issue in this country. people here dont steal because of that". for reals? what planet are you from? she probably lives in north shore. $50 has it that she went to a private shcool. just needed to vent.

And naturally, he opens the message while I'm editing it. It makes me glad that my edits are always just to add information or correct grammar rather than to take things back.
