I hope that your dog recovers quickly.

My dog is doing just fine; the vet put my dog on a medication, which is a cream to be put around his eyes.

Glad he's doing well :-)
What type of dog is he?

Wellard the dog from Eastenders was on 'A Touch of Frost' last night, he stole the show!

Sometimes it seems that certain people who spew positive encouragement at one are actually hoping for failure.

This is my first time being on Wrong Planet in a couple of weeks at least because I've had interests in things not related to the site.

Oh, Marla.

I admit that I wasn't too crazy about her the first time I watched Fight Club - maybe because I didn't quite know what to expect from her. But I like her a lot more this time around.

Whereas the first time I saw her as being kind of pathetic, this time around I saw her as being vulnerable and broken, with glimpses of her being able to genuinely care about other people underneath her neurotic exterior. So in other words, kind of like myself. I even experienced that weird phenomenon where after I watch a movie, I feel like I am my favorite character for a little while afterwards.

In Lebanon, it is illegal to have travelled to Israel. If you have any evidence of travel to Israel, you will be refused entry to Lebanon. This includes Israeli exit or entry stamps in your passport, and Egyptian or Jordanian stamps from border crossings with Israel. Citizens of Lebanon and other Arab nations, including dual nationals, may be arrested and imprisoned.

wow i had no idea. i mean i wouldnt want to go to this racist hell hole(israel) anyway but wow. i'm not entirely surprised. i wonder how this would effect travel to palestine or protest actions like the freedom flotillas.

and this warning to australian tourists on smart traveller just cracked me up:
Quote:
Avoid large gatherings and demonstrations: You should avoid any large gatherings and demonstrations as they may turn violent. You should stay indoors during celebratory gunfire, which often occurs after political speeches.

pfft wimps. australians are not that soft. haha avoid celebratory gunfire hahaha.

Some things are better kept to myself. I'll support myself through the hard times.

It is neither polite nor wise to make such generalizations based on nationality.

Water tasted fine. Water filter company comes for service call, changes filters. Now, water tastes like "WD40" smells. Great job Mr. LoudMouth.
