To do what to keep you amused? how would I go about doing that? blow on your belly and make baby sounds, pinch your cheeks, play pick a boos under the bed sheets?

Really some (many) people around here need to grow up (or get their depression in order) and perhaps will than come to the realisation that we where not meant to be in relationships ,have friends or be in meaningful employment ,

Accept it and move on or would you just prefer to whine about it?
It's so nice to see you're not being a miserable git, aussiebloke. You're like WP's very own little ray of sunshine.
Yes, sarcasm.

My duckies got to play in the bathtub today! It was sooo adorable watching them dive into the water.

They have a sinus infection and are on meds, but may not make it. I thought that they should at least get to see what it's like to swim. They are ducks after all, and it's what they're born to do.

At least you guys have an upper house.

Looks like they will win 75 seats here :eew:

If I could be bothered to vote I'd vote greens  , but I don't whats the point?

oh my, you live in queensland? wow liberal zone now. and bob kater! 8O my condolences. i vote greens too but they have shifted right. you're right- whats the point? parliamentism stinks.

today the young arab woman came up to our stall again and started talking to us. usually we have to follow contacts up but she comes to us... this is very unorthadox but welcome.
also i got sent an email telling me our comrades in zimbabwe have been released on bail and our comrades there sent their thanks for our support. they were arrested for watching/screening footage of the egyptian revolution. yep they got arrested for watching tv.

Well how far right would you say ?

Are they now a soft left party a centrist one ? I'm not entirely sure. Though on the economics side I have no problems with that whats so ever, I think these days their sounding more fiscally conservative than lib lab. 8O

I'm more intrested in their social policies and the fact that their keen on building stuff that I want done like fast rail or light rail in Brisbane, It's pathetic look at Sydney a (allegedly ) "world class city" and no metro, yet in a city like Lausanne (Switzerland) under a Green council they built a underground metro even though they have 1/25 the population of Sydney!

Perhaps 100+ years to late Sydney will build one to.

I feel like an idiot taking public transport in this country ., hence why I bicycle every where. :)

Ps Are you suggesting we storm the parliment aka a banana benda revolution, it ain't gonna happen aussies are way to apathetic for these sorts of things.

BTW I will curse Newman every time I'm on Ipswich road I need to cross the road at 2 differant points to get to where I'm going because theirs no access for non car people , thanks to his stupid tunnels.....

Tell that to the farmers. Are they born to be eaten ?

Worth thinking about next time your eating Peking duck at your local?

I saw a cute little gopher on my walk today. It poked its head out of its hole and looked at me for a few seconds, and then pulled back in to hide, and did multiple times :)

I couldn't help but wonder what the cute thing was thinking :?

Yeah well that's another thing bogans like to do  overstate how awesomely things are going (boganonmics) I do not buy for one moment this 5.whatever % unemployment rate. All casual theme park jobs if you ask me.

If I wasn't so settled here I'd be back in CH (Confederation Helvetia ) aka Switzerland in a heartbeat. I know for a fact their 2.5 % unemployment is the real deal not some fictitious number plucked out Swanies anus.

that 5% unemployment rate doesnt count people who have given up on looking for work or people who are underemployed so it is a dodgy number plucked from his rear end. good luck with submitting your centrelink jobsearch documents people. they really make you run around dont they?
as for the greens sometimes they seem soft left and other times just right wing. it depends. like sarah hanson young is vocal on refugee rights and technically the party is against mandatory detention but then the greens in tasmania are talking about opening up a detention centre again... or brown shaking hands with obama where once upon a time he would not have or the greens saying there should be no war in arab countries so we can focus our military on the asia pacific or them being initially for a concience vote on same sex marriage. that and their general inaction when it comes to certain issues. they have power over the labour government and could have spoken up against them because she cant say anything- she needs friends in her minority government but they wont do anything.

 hell yeah! im revolutionary not reformist! we may be living in flat political times now but it wasnt always so and the time will come when we go all revolution on their buts! wouldnt it be fun to storm parliament?

today talking to my comrade made me happy. she reasurred me that if centrelink rejects my claim i could still move in with her for a bit and see if centrelink will approve my claim then. i feel safer now. she is so nice.
