Yeah, that could explain everything but it could just be a building defect. The mailbox had all cobwebs in the slot so it looked like nobody was using it (might block the slot with duct tape anyway; paranoid that people might use the address for suspicious purposes). I tried to see if my key worked in it but it didn't. I wonder who'd have the key?
