Instead of an electric light outside their house, one of my neighbours has an candle insulated in a lantern instead. It's quite nice to watch it flicker in the dark.

I love being clean. Showering twice a day helps when the weather gets warmer.

I love me some Umphs. They always seem to find a nice groove from which to blow my mind.

Maybe cooking is REALLY my forte...... it's just that it's taken me years to realize my potential in that.

For a thing is thought in one way when the words signifying it are thought, and it is thought in quite another way when the thing signified is understood.

Got me some arrows, finally.

3 aluminum; 31", vanes, nocks and screw-in field points (will get some screw in broadheads)
1 carbon; same

See which shoot the best and I'll get that type. The carbon ones are twice as much in cost, so that's why I only got one (man, they're a lot thinner and lighter; I guess they offer higher velocity for similar strength). Both are fine with my 50 pound modern [hunting] recurve I use the most.

I like collecting things, so I'll probably buy three of the best one each week; I like having a full quiver.

Ha! I knew that Mayuri from Steins;Gate and Shiemi from Blue Exorcist were portrayed by the same voice actress (in the Japanese versions). She has the sweetest voice, and it's very suitable for such nice characters.

my classmate says that the word for wife in japanese means "woman who sits at the back of the room"(or something like that) and the word for husband means "master". as much as i like japanese, that is just dead sexist.

Strung up my 50 pound recurve bow for the first time in a couple of years. String is fine, as is the arrow rest. Arrows match my draw length quite well.

50 pound felt quite light, which is good; the work outside has kept my arms strong.

It's a wonder with the constant avatar changing I've done over the last year, I've not received some award for being annoying or such?

This'll have to do:
Quote:
Achievement Get!
------------------
Avatars: Change avatars often and hope people don't mind!

:D
Not a very creative one I will say, but fun anyway!

It really sucks when you can't call up a friend (because they are dead) and thank them profusely for some of the best advice they ever gave you because it seemed irritating when you were following it but it probably just paid off in a major way. I have my clock straightened out. Now what will time tell me?

I want someone to talk to, in case I get left alone on another site again.
