Had a beer and a whiskey last night.
Enough to feel a light buzz, def not enough to be drunk.. but still more than zero and not a dry day. Coffee, off to work, might hit the beach this evening if I get my work done early enough to make it worth the drive/ride.

Just arrived to my job. There’s a minimum amount I Need to get done before I can call it a day. With a bit of focus and determination I can make it to the beach this eve.

Client offered me a drink, so, whiskey while I work it is.
Planning on getting as much done in 2 hours as I can then dipping to the beach and returning tmw.

Limited myself to just 1 beer at the beach last night. I mean, I'd already had 2.5 ounce of whiskey, though. :/ But still, reducing beach consumption to max 1 beer is better for health and cost control. So far just black coffee this morning (I almost never drink alcohol in the morning) and gonna head off to work soon.

Client poured me a whiskey, sooo.. drinking again. His wife made me a nice hamburger earlier, too. hard to be in a productive rush to finish my work when these ppl are so hospitable. :p
Also, I love that he interpreted my verbal quote as being for labour only + my stated cost of materials. I didn’t correct him. He’s a super OCD ex-machinist so appreciates a perfectionist job. So I’ll take the bonus for putting in the extra time to do a bang up job.
