I'm tired, but keeping myself awake cos there's no point trying to sleep. I assume this is the night of the year where I am allowed to play loud music after 11pm. Well, not loud.

I am a total party pooper when it comes to New Year's Eve. I look forward to New Year's Day, when all the hoopla is finally over with. Although I still dread how many times I'll hear "happy new year!" for the next 4 to 6 weeks.

Waaaaaa Seattle Space Needle fireworks cancelled due to wind. I'm at a house on Queen Anne Hill with a good view of everything. 4 big boats decorated with lights in the bay to watch the fireworks. Lots of people in the streets were waiting anxiously for it.
And I did a MUHAHAHA when nothing happened. Cause I knew they would not shoot them off with high winds.
Are high winds quite normal for this time of the year in Seattle?
I live in a city which is called "The Windy City" and it lives up to its name a lot. On the other hand its also called "The Friendly City". But other cities can also be friendly - it depends whom you encounter!
