I've never heard of anything else suppurating, like toothpaste suppurating out of the tube, for example, you never hear that.
Such a great word though.
One of those ones you'd rather not have a pictorial with. :eew:

And now I've learned something :D . I never knew the term was "supperating sores", I confused the word with "separating." According to the definition, pus must be present for it to be supperating, so since I don't think toothpaste is capable of producing pus, I think the answer to your question is no.

Of course this led me to read up more on pus  , and now I'm both fascinated and a wee bit nauseous  .

What types of holidays treats do you typically have? (I need ideas for baking this year).

I've been debating getting a small storage cabinet to squeeze some more functional space out of this place. The closet is bursting at it's proverbial seams. I'm getting closer to making a decision. It would be very nice to not have things packed so tightly that I lose track of them. I may get an orange one. The color is calling to me.... but maybe I'll regret not getting wood or white ...

Double learning today.
I thought the word meant more like the action (oozing) rather than actual pus.
So in that case a tiny pimple could be a suppurating sore.
Interesting.
What if it's oozing plasma instead of pus?
I can't believe I'm so interested in this topic, wish I had a few leg ulcers of my own to observe.

Ooh it looks like it has a Latin breakdown & also I misspelled it (at least in the US): Suppurating ---> "based on Latin sub- ‘below’ + pus, pur- ‘pus’." For oozing plasma I think the word would be supplasating :nerdy:  .
