Here's Daft Punk's cameo appearance in their own movie, Interstella 5555. Ironically they lose a prize to another music act at an awards ceremony.

The Mackinac Bridge (pronounced Mack-in-aw) a.k.a. The Mighty Mac was open in 1957 and finally connected Michigan's upper and lower pennisula's together. It is the only toll road in the State of Michigan.
