Small town Utah has limited options. . . I like most asian cuisine (actually, all I've tried- which is all but one listed) too. . Never tried Nepalese.
Makes my feet are itchy.
Have to make do with cookbooks from the library. . .
You've tried Mongolian, what is that like?
We should exchange recipes. I'll have to remember that your veggie. Are you pure veggie or do you eat some fish? Please don't get offended

I know some good veggie recipes but not many of them are asian. I’ve already listed two.
Sort of like Chinese, but kind of dryer and stronger. . . that was in my pre veggie days- there was the requisite beef, plus dumplings, some fabulous spicy noodles, and some sort of cabbage dish. I liked it.
About exchanging. . . hmn. . . be happy to try, but I don't know that I'd be a particuarly good source; most of the dishes I cook with any frequency (the ones I really love) end up somewhat bastardized for convenience and ingredients, and for anything else, all I could really tell you would be, "I found it in a book, I tried it, and it came out pretty good." And I don't keep very good track of past exploits.
I'm a pretty relaxed vegetarian- if there's nothing else to eat that fills nutritional requirements, I'll eat whatever's around. .. but I try not to go meet-seeking on purpose. . . However, I adore seafood and fish, so if you have a socks-knocking recipe of that kind, do send it my way. . . I'll save it for a holiday or something.
