Heard a gentleman take a crap in a urinal cause there was no way he could hold-it. Could understand his pain since I was occupying one of the sittin' stalls due to my own "emergency" so felt bad for the guy.

Being in the US Navy back in the late 80's I learned real quick not to be shy in the stalls or would never be able to go. On the ship there's no such thing as a private bathroom :(

That's my two pence,
Peace,
Bruce (hope not too graphic/gross/putrifying)

I am now reminded of the episode of South Park where Stan didn't want to vote in the school mascot election, and he went to live on the PETA commune.

The PETA guy was taking a dump out in the open.

I can only use a public restroom if I know it is going to be clean. Which means basically, I hardly ever use them because I never know if they are going to be clean or dirty.
I only use public restrooms if it is vital. I try and avoid it as much as possible.

I also hate it when some pees on the seat and doesn't clean it up, I just have to get out of there if I see that, it is so un-hygenic :!:

It's annoying when people go #2 and don't flush. There's nothing like seeing someone else's log floating (or sinking--probably watched MXC one too many times) when you're trying to go #1.

I hate it no matter WHAT is left in the toilet! Even barf isn't as bad as piss (which of ocurse is better than s**t, most of the time, but whatever). Even toilet paper left in the toilet I find gross, cuz I'm wondering what it's hiding. Spit is better than a lot of things but I'd still go into a different stall if it was there.

If it's yellow, let it mellow. If it's brown, flush it down!

Eeeeeew. Trigger11, did you watch that Fockers movie by any chance? It was so funny!

I had a really gross embarrassing moment today! I was having... er... side effects from the Celexa, and you know how I don't like using dry paper, I need to use a lot of wet soapy paper towels AND dry paper... I put too much toilet paper in the toilet and blocked it... flushed for too long trying to get it down but the toilet just filled up... just my luck, someone walked in and the toilet started gargling like a puking or drowning person just at that time the person walked in... they then left... the door opened and closed anyway... it was probably two people that sounded like 1 and one went and one stayed... I thought I was alone in the washroom and started talking to myself... "You'll have to stick your hand in there... no choice." (There was no plunger, toilet bowl brush or anything.) So I grabbed a wad of toilet paper... and stuck my hand in to unplug the outlet. Then Im like, "And now cwe can flush." So when I come out of the stall with my hands in the air, rush over to the sink and wash my hands vigorously I realize that there IS someone in the bathroom, at the sink. Fuerthermore, it's the person I mentioned in my Jekyll-and-Hyde thread in the Friendship/Social Interaction forum! Btw, I had flushed several times before, but this time I just blocked it for some stupid reason! Luckily she was almost done, she left, I waited for the hall outside to clear and left. And furthermore, I had jsut taken a shower and had forgotten my clothes so I put the bikini bathing suit bottom and the quickly-drying shirt that I had been wearing back on (I had been wearing them as underwear and washed them in the shower with me) and I was wearing nothing but them, and my hair was wet and matted... I looked like I'd been playing in the toilet!

Wow, Ana54,
That just cracked me up!

That tops the thing that happened to a friend of mine when he went to use one of those outdoor Johnny huts one sees at construction sites. He went in it, but found he was not alone. There was a big hornet's nest in it, and the hornets took umbrage that they had company. In his panic to get out he tipped the hut over, and fell out with his pants around his knees and the hornets stinging him. Everybody at the site broke up laughing.

OMG, yours is even funnier than mine! Classic, if it's true!

You'll love this one... it's even funnier... I learned of it just after I posted my embarrassing moment today!

Yesterday (I think) at the Y someone drank piss... this guy named Dwight who lives on the 6th floor of the Y said that he was walking down the hall when he saw these two guys drinking beer next to a garbage can... one of them smashed his empty bottle and the other pissed in his. Then he set it down next to the garbage can. Well, a lot of guys who are on drugs and really out of it see a bottle of something and just grab it and drink it. So one guy who was like this who passed by picked up the bottle of piss and drank it... he spluttered, then he dropped the bottle of piss into the garbage can and just walked away.

Yep, its true about the Johnny hut hornets (sounds like the name of some sports team).
Drinking piss reminds me of when some kids came to visit my farm, and the older ones told one of the younger ones that the chicken droppings where chocolate candy, and the poor little guy ate one before I could intervene!

Yes, but I believe in that motto as an environmentalist and live it every day. Just make sure you put the lid down when you're done. Water conservation is an integral part to protecting the Earth for our children.

Well, you could always do stuff like catching used dishwater, bathwater and laundry water in a bucket under the drains and using that to flush the toilet... but maybe that would be too much trouble. Also, a good environmental tip is get a bidet! Or at least use the bath faucet and some soap instead of toilet paper!

Animal fat for soap is plentiful (from animals that died from any cause), trees are not. :)

Bum scrubbers! A good tip for making it less obvious when number 2's plop is lay down a few sheets of loo paper in the bowl first. I don't like using public toilets much but if there was a bit of an emergency, I'd rather go there than try and hang on and maybe have an accident.

When somebody is holding on one could say the farts were coming "off the face of the turd". For some reason, men's poos seem to often smell worse than women's. Mum said it is because men eat more meat - I don't know if that's what it is.

But some women's can be really bad!. When I was 3, this weird lady was minding my younger brother and me while mum was in hospital having baby number 3. Anyway, she had a toilet downstairs, and one day was dropping a bog. So I held my nose and said "bad smell" when she came out. She called me "a wicked little girl" and was very mean to me from then on.

There was a lady from work who would drop very pongy number 2's but she isn't there any more.

There was this funny incident in Sizzlers a few years ago when my daughter and her friend were with me. Apparently, a middle-aged lady had gone to the toilet and her little grandson with with here. She went - fart, plop! plop! aah! and he said "nanny, I can smell your pooooo!. We were cracking up laughing but I bet the poor lady was very embarrassed.

Air freshener is a considerate idea in home toilets but if there is no ventilation, there will still be a bad smell. Some people swear by lighting matches to burn up the gas but I don't know if it really works.

Someone at the rooming house I lived in once would burn incence in the bathroom, maybe for that reason.

LOL, Pandora, your post reminded me of an incident on the train during a class trip around Europe om grade 11, where a guy from my school came out of the bathroom and said that when he went to the bathroom the toilet was full of s**t (I dunno if it was his or someone else's or both) and didn't flush, so he covered it with toilet paper and left it there.

When I was on the bus from Edmonton to Victoria last year. One french guy passed out in the bathroom from excessive drinking and no one could use it for a few hours.
