Sorry- dread's always appear messy, unkempt and dirty. I don't like them on anyone. Just seems like another excuse not to care about appearance. And let's face it, no one with dread's ever got a job beyond working in a mall or similar low-level employment. Ever see a doctor or lawyer with dread's? How about a restaurant manager? I haven't. And if I did, I'd walk out.

Well you seem a little judgmental ???
I have Dreads and I am a Tattoo Artist. It actually takes alot of time and care to grow dreads. You have to be very clean and keep them very very clean. "Just seems like another excuse not to care about appearance." You should not look down your nose at everything you dont understand or dont want to. People get jobs for their skills. If anyone did lose a job for their hair style t would be because of people like you throwing a fit "And if I did, I'd walk out". If you think they are so dirty why dont you research the Care and Maintenance of Dreadlocks.

I had them before for about a year. But i got tired of the feeling of a weight on my head. So I shaved it all off.
