To spend the day at home, in my apartment, if I'm not feeling right.

I learned that the Led Zeppelin song "D'yer Maker" is really a phonetic spelling of the word "Jamaica," British-style. Never knew that before & I've been a Zepp fan since time out of mind.

Hmm....

I've learned that Ray Davies, wrote a tribute to Mick Avory, for The Kinks to record in 1985, a year after he left the group. The song is on the Think Visual album. Ray is a nice guy, after all. I don't know whether to laugh, or cry.

I don't think that I've learned that much more, today. How good it feels, to let go of a grudge.

Kaposi's Sarcoma, although being called sarcoma, is actually not malignant.
It happens a lot more on males than females among the individuals who are infected by HHV-8.
About 50% of HIV-related Kaposi's Sarcoma involves oral lesions, which can be easily damaged causing secondary infection and eating/speaking difficulties.

*Sarcoma: a malignant neoplasm (ie. tumour) arised from connective tissue

There is a strong link between smoking and periodontal disease. And because of the impaired recovering ability due to many mechanism of a smoker, supportive periodontal treatment has little benefit on smoker.

What surprises me is that. Smoking cessation actually reverses the effects! The lecture notes said, people who quit smoking has the same progression rate in periodontal disease as non-smoker, and has the same response to treatment as non-smoker :D

I've learned that I can't hide away from my problems, and I went to my clubhouse, today. :)

I learned that if I upgrade Windows train-wreck (I mean Vista 32 bit) to Windows 7, it is necessary to uninstall several (hardware manufacturer) programs (which seem to be necessary to the proper functioning of the computer!! !! !) before 'upgrading' and THEN, reinstalling (perhaps an upgraded version) of the programs that I uninstalled.

What a F****** nightmare................again

I've learned not to sugar-coat my New Member greetings, anymore. People don't understand what a time warp is, unless they live in one, themselves. If I say anything about a Mid-60s time warp, people will presume that I'm also bananas about The Beatles, folk rock and Motown. If I keep to the welcome that I've been perfecting, over my past four welcomes, than people will see me, for me.

Welcome to WrongPlanet, from WP's Kinks Fan. :)

This greeting. 8)

That way, I won't have to change my avatar to something that has the logo, every time I welcome a new tribe of members. :)
