I'll be in a rush to get my CTP and rego paid tomorrow. I might have to sneak down to the NRMA to pay the CTP in the morning so I can give them time to tell the RTA my CTP is paid, then pay my rego at lunchtime. I sure hope it only takes 1 hour like it says it does.

I try to keep a little distance from buffets, because I always want to sample everything. At the end, I'm left with regret and a stomachache. :)

I've sun blocked the sliding glass door where my bed is, two evenings ago and it's been raining for the past two days. All that hard work for nothing, it seems. It took me an hour and a half to do it.

it would have to be a ridiculously stupid person that would consider that location as a possible location for stowage of bodily remains.

i have learned that wolves are the archetype of every breed of dog.

almost every dog is inferior to wolves in their ability to hunt and defend themselves.

dog's are claimed to be "mans best friends".

dog's are descended from wolves who apparently "howl at the moon" ?!?!?!

what good is it to howl at the moon when outer space can not conduct sound?
the moon will never hear the howl, and even if the howl did reach the moon, then there would be zero response.

calories wasted.

Here is a very interesting article on wolves' howling; http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/nova/wolves/howl.html. It even mentions the hilarity of howling "at the moon" in its last paragraph.

The gist of it is that wolves howl for communication (both to warn and locate other pack members and to confront rival packs) and to strengthen social bounds.

I have to assume that the "to the moon" tilt of the head aids with the projection of sound; I do not know if this is true of sound, but most projectiles cover the most distance when launched from a forty-five degree angle.
