I like the colouring in this photo.

Actually guys if you want to resize the photos. Just do this

Where *** is a number, for mine its 531 - you can attempt to resize it in photoshop or paint and it should compensate and give you a number. So if you shrink it from 5000x3000 to 800 it'll pump out your width (of 531).

So you upload them full quality - and add that line instead of resizing.

800 is the max width allowed due to the formatting of the forum - but I think it allows up to 1000 for top to bottom length.

Alternatively after you hit post just hit edit and if it auto resized itself it'll show the numbers already and you can tweak them... I like doing it that way because then the originals are still large incase someone wants to click them and see them big...

Tomasu, this is exquisite. i especially like the diagonal line dividing the picture into foreground and sky, with the red eye of a bird in between. it speaks volumes.

We walked to the top of that mountain (to that building up there).

oh, sweet jesus. i want to trace my fingers all along the grout and rub my palms against the gritty brick. i might sidle up close and surreptitiously smell it too, while nobody is looking.


so rough! do you know, i always used to photograph bark up close, and i even would paint pictures of it sometimes. i think people found it boring. i did a nice pastel of birch bark. i'll see if i can dig it up for the lulz.


the moss. how did you know i would love the texture of moss?

No, it was for real - a genuine compliment!
There's a nice soft glow of reflected light which really gives the bark a texture and depth.
