I know, she's a really different kind sex object, alt before her time. Don't know if it is an urban myth, but heard that the record company were unhappy with this film and made her shoot another one to promote the record. Evidently the size and considerable heft of the dancers bothered them.

Wikipedia tells me that the jacket that Toni Basil wears in the above film is a genuine one she wore as a genuine cheerleader, which gives me a pleasant aspergic frisson.
