There's no specific test, but if you do have tics it could be worth asking for a neuropsych consult for history gathering to try and bang out if it is tourettes, other/unspecified tic disorder, or simple psychogenic tics. The only other assessments besides the ones you already mentioned that I regularly run into are DID, emotional support animals, and interviewing for gender dysphoria related treatment (LGBTQ+ services is my area of specialization). So if none of those apply, I am out of ideas

Outside of assessments, maybe targeting some specific areas through specialist services would be a good way to run through that cash. A big one that comes to mind would be sleep therapy, if you have any issues with insomnia or other parasomnias. DBT groups are usually fun and actually really useful for navigating the BS of daily life.

Hope that helped spark some ideas? Maybe? Hehe

Q! How old were you when you started to use a computer?
sub-q: What was the first thing you did on said computer?

I was given an Amstrad CPC when I was about 8 in the late 80s. It came with some games so the first thing I would have done is loaded up one of those.

Same Q.

I was 9 years old when I had access to a family PC. I used to it play simple games initially and then moved on to retail releases of video games, such as Age of Empires.

From about age 12 I also used the PC for instant messaging on MSN which was popular back then.

I had 56kbps internet with a modem that made the usual suspected dialing sounds when connecting.

Same question.

^^

I emailed a place for a psychoeducational but told them I’ve already done the psycho part (lol). I’ve never had an educational assessment or full IQ profile but only an abbreviated Weschler. I know I have an auditory-visual LD but idk about Dyslexia or whatever causes Irlen Syndrome. We’ll see what they say. I also dangled my insurance money and timeline so I hope that they’ll bite.

I’ve done formal sleep studies and have sleep disorders but that’s a good idea too!

I saw a computer in a shop maybe in the early 80s and I typed something about sex. It wrote back “what?” and it scared me.

Oooooh, I forgot about all the other LD assessments, that would probably be fun to know. Dyslexia, discalculia, dysgraphia... there are so many quirky little things the brain can do backflips about.

Shoe size US M9/W11.

If you were an aquatic animal, what would you be?

The psychoeducational is $5K and wouldn't be done in time.

I found a place that does TD/TS assessments so I emailed them. It's done by a medical doctor so it would be free (it wouldn't use up my insurance). I'm still not sure what to do with the insurance. It may end up being wasted.

I would be a duck.

I would be a dolphin.

Do you shave your legs often (or at all)?

Not very often. I have very little hair on my legs, and I have poor eyesight lol.

No, I have literally never shaved my legs, ever. I'm a dude.

Do you like warmer or colder weather?

I don't particularly like either extreme. I'm capable of enjoying a crisp chilly Autumn morning and an early warm spring breeze.

What do you most regret having eaten?

Anything that makes me go to the loo in a hurry.

What was the happiest period of your life, according to your memory?

The end of February 2008 to the end of October 2022.
It's all downhill from here, boys.

Probably as a small kid, up until the age of 11, before I began becoming more cynical and ultimately, depressed.

Have you ever thrown an object at someone, for example an eraser, during your entire lifetime, including in school?

Not that I can recall. I'm really bad at throwing so I'd have no confidence in being able to hit what/who I was aiming at. I probably wouldn't do it for that reason alone.

Do you enjoy magicians?
