I'm reading a fiction and have finished about 80% of it, but I'm thinking to give it up because there are too many implausible decisions that the characters make to get themselves in danger. It's just so frustrating. The book is simply not well-written.

- A woman getting out of the car in the middle of the night because she thought she saw a running woman and she wanted to "save" her and running after her into the woods.
- Leaving a butcher knife in the room where a crazy psycho who earlier tried to attack with it can easily grab it.
- Unnecessarily confronting a suspicious weird creature instead of calling the police.
etc.
