I wish that woman on the advert would stop going on about her fresh pair of knickers. Is it such a big deal to her that she changes them every day that she has to keep on spouting about it?

Perhaps they were soiled and she has to change them... ;)

My sister, who is visiting from England, gave me a beaded bracelet from there as a gift. Some of the beads have the Union Jack on them. I'm wearing it right now.

I'm getting a Union Jack bedding set for my new flat which I'll be moving into in a couple of months.

I have no idea now. I'm bored. My pen is out of ink.

You don't need a pen to type.

What motivates someone to become a proctologist?

I once worked with a doc who became a pathologist (as in "autopsies") ONLY because the course of study was basically the only one that would fit with when she could get childcare for her two toddlers. But she was a good pathologist in spite of why she got there.

All those dating site ads with pics of cheap-looking women are really annoying me to the point where I sometimes impulsively close the window.

Willow from Don't Starve and Franziska Von Karma from the Ace Attorney series are my favorite video game characters.

I started over "Incarceron". The book is very hard to understand, but I still am enjoying it. One of the characters also has my second favorite name for guys.

i am terrified that one day i will be asked to simultaneously point to my six favorite fingers.

yeah i have been advised that no-one will get it (after being on the phone to someone who i told what i was going to post), so i will reveal my convoluted explanation. one does not have to be restricted to using only the index finger for pointing. so if i was asked to point to my 5 favorite fingers, i could use all of my non favorite fingers to simultaneously point to my 5 favorite fingers, but if i was asked to point to my six favorite fingers, then i would be one finger short of being able to do so.

i hope i never encounter that question. on the other hand, i may ask the checkout woman at the supermarket tomorrow that very question to see whether she has a more efficient answer. actually i will not use the other hand. i will use "this" hand. what is the "other hand" anyway?

it all dissolves into a slurry of madness the more one thinks about it.
