everywhere i go, whenever i encounter manual doors with windows in them, there is a always a sticker on them which says either "push to open" or "pull to open" on one side, and "pull to open" or "push to open" on the other side. there are never any instructions on how to close the doors.
but that is not the central point of my gripe. i actually do find instructions on whether to push or pull windowed doors in order to open them useful, so i wonder why car manufacturers have not adopted this practice.
but once again, even if they did adopt the practice of sticking "push to open" or "pull to open" stickers on the side doors windows (referring to the doors the windows are set in), they would also have to stick "pull to close" or "push to close" stickers on the inside of each door's window. life is complicated.

For some reason, I really want to make puppets. Like, badly. (thank goodness I've been hoarding felt over this past month!) Never had an interest in puppets before today, which is kind of weird. But I suppose it is an offshoot of my plushie obsession, as well as my desire to see my favorite fictional characters come to life and be a part of the real world.

My neighbours had a domestic this morning. The police were there blocking the driveway but they were gone by the time I had to leave for work.

Yes there are kids in the house.

I have to go to work in an hour or so, but I'm extremely sleepy. If I rest now, I surely will fall asleep and miss my work. I hate this feeling.

In the UK, the word 'skivvy' has long meant a servant or slave. Usually female.

Oh I see I thought you meant what I had above my Avatar, now I get it.

I have seen that word in books that I read when people were servants and Downton Abbey of course.

I don't know how I'm managing to contain myself at this precise moment in time. all I want to do is say just one little four letter word and I'd feel so much better but I know I can't. I think I'd better go out on my bike for a bit before I get in trouble.
