I'm seriously considering adding my die cast of Skipper Riley (from Planes) to my small collection of "security objects" that I carry around with me in my bag.

i can not understand why, when i buy electrical commodities, that the user manuals packed in the box with the commodity never have instructions about how to open the box in the first place.

i wonder why food packaging companies only print "open other end" on the wrong end of the package to open, and why they do not also print "open this end" on the correct side of the package to open? if you have the package right side up, there is no sign telling you that it is the correct side to open the package, so you have to turn it upside down to see if it says "open other end". what a blasted hassle.

i saw a story on "a current affair" tonight that intermittently overruled my focus on the game i am playing.

it was a story about the mothers and wives of truck drivers who have died "behind the wheel".

i was not interested in the slightest until i heard "and the tragedy is that the mothers and wives of truckies all over australia have to deal with the death of a loved one every day"

my immediate thought was that "if they lost a 'loved one' every day, then , depending on the amount of loved ones they had, who can say how long that cycle would last." at best it could take a year.

well the turmoil of that reality would only last 3 days for me. after that, i would have no one else to lose, so i would start to think things are looking rosy. anyway i am off now to other fields of consideration.

The Chain Rule for Partial Derivatives kicked my butt for a while, but I think I figured out how to do it with less pain: work out each part seperately before putting them together.

Everything around me seems to revolve around the number 413.
