in the background, coming from the TV, i heard the statement "everybody's fingerprints are unique. there are no 2 fingerprints alike", and whilst i have always known that to be the case, it nevertheless through me out of my track of concentration (which was unrelated to what was on the TV).

i suddenly thought in a completely disengaged way "oh really? well my fingerprints are not on file, so how can you claim that no one else on earth has the same fingerprints as i do if you do not know what fingerprints i have ?!?!"

i knew it was a stupid thought, but i was drawn into it because it seemed so funny to me.

i then thought that if i was in the presence of someone who continued arguing with me that my fingerprints were unique, that i would retort with "even if you did know what my fingerprints looked like, there would still be the majority of the population of the world who's fingerprints remain uncharted, and so your notional assertion that my fingerprints are unique can not be validated"

i am very often sidetracked by my residual oppositional defiance disorder, and i hear things said that i have a fundamental itch to refute, even though i agree with them.

to throw crudely formed cognitive spanners into the works of well oiled philosophical machines is unfortunately rather fun for me.

the more i say, the more convoluted my sentences become, so this is a good time to say .."hooray"

I found my N64. The joy was cancelled out by the fact the TV wouldn't detect that the AV's were connected. Turns out I had to clean the connectors on the game cartridge, go figure. And the picture is really really REALLY blurry.

I saw a guy who looks just like "Comic book guy", from the Simpsons. He also works in a comic book store.

I've been going around the house singing this song every day for the past several days. My mom finally asked me to stop.

"Do all your shopping... AT WALMART!!" (click)

Glad someone agrees! The only thing I don't like about it is how short it is. In actuality, it's just a small snippet taken from a 20 minute long song called "The Most Unwanted Song", which was deliberately created by scientists to be the "most horrible song ever" by combining different elements of songs that people hated. For example, 4 of the things that people listed were "Christmas songs", "children singing", "advertising" and "tubas", all of which you can hear in the 20 second clip I posted in my previous post.

I have really been enjoying the assortment of cheese spreads that my uncle sent us as a gift. I never would have guessed that smoked cheese would become one of my favorite foods.
