I've got plenty to say thanks, but I'm not gonna even bother.

It's above and beyond me how people can sit there eating one meal after another.

What I mean is like when people have there main meal and then pudding afterwards.

It's just something that I'll never understand.

It takes me all my time to eat one small meal a day, let alone two or even three meals on top of each other.

My niece (the older one), after invading my room (Dill's note for the future: Minefields), proclaimed behind my back to my mother that I'm boring after watching me make a scenario for a wargame.

Well, yeah, I am boring, but making wargame scenarios is never boring.

Pah to her, I say. Pah.

I don't know why women always seem to think they have to feed me. Why is that?

All I get is babybird have a crisp, babybird have a cereal bar.

I don't think I look hungry.

I think they're just obsessed with food.

Cluck cluck cluck cluck cluck! That's what they do.

Saying that though, I don't mind when someone brings in a big bunch of grapes.

I like it when they pop in my mouth and they're nice and cold too.

If I'd have never came to Wrong Planet I would never have known what a prefix or a suffix is.

So there you see.

Everything for a reason. :D

I had surgery on my nose a couple weeks ago because it was crooked & possibly contributing to sinus problems I had all my life & maybe minor sleep apnea. It's been bleeding some every day sense. I had a real bad nose bleed on my way to my appointment last week to get packing removed. I had one a lot worse than that a couple days ago; we would of had to call 911 if it didn't stop when it did because I lost aLOT of blood & was about ready to pass out. There's been almost no bleeding at all sense; the slight discoloration on the gauze I'm keeping under my nose may be dried blood from a couple days ago. We went to WalMart & did laundry today & I didn't have any problems so I'm hoping that the bleeding may FINALLY be over. My next appointment is in a month & if I have another bad nose bleed I'm going to get the soonest appointment I can but I'm really hoping that's better now. I had doctors orders to take it easy for two weeks & those two weeks ended a couple days ago. There's a few things that need to do that are being put off & I'm sure my girlfriend would appreciate it if I could start doing task I usually do so she wouldn't have to do em anymore. I'll very gradually start doing more after Memorial Day if there hasn't been any problems.

I love it when I phone some one up and I tell them who I am and where I'm from, and sometimes I can just hear the sheer disappointment in their voice.

I always say to them "Oh, I'm sorry to have disappointed you, was you expecting someone else"?

It's actually a real icebreaker that. They relax a bit and give me a bit of a chance.

I've got a young sounding voice anyway, so they just think I'm a little kid.

It's good sometimes because some people even give me tips on etiquette.

I do take it all on board.

When I got home from work a little after 11pm,
I took a beer outside and sat on the old wooden
bench by the veggie garden.

Damn uncomfortable, that bench.

But the stars. Soooo many.
And then I saw Mars. The red one.
As I was looking at Mars, I noticed shooting stars.
I saw 4 in all. It's some meteor shower I remember
reading this week.

It was a nice day ending.

The stars must have been amazing before
all this electricity.

When I sit down I want to stand up, and when I stand up I want to sit down.

So, what I do is, I just keep standing up and sitting down all day long.
