Its raining lol, and its annoying because the roof is leaking. My life today: Empty buckets, mop floor, go to hospital with husband (he has legs issues), get back home, empty buckets, mop floor, make dinner, empty buckets, mop floor, write a few comments on WP, empty buckets, mop floor, and so on. I like routine, but not that kind of routine lol.

I'm happy. I made new pics of my ebay items, and I hope people will want to buy them this time.

"Three Queens" by Heather Dale is probably the most beautiful song I've ever heard. Makes me cry every time though.

It's the second verse that always gets me:

Sink into your lover's arms
The womb that made you whole
Let her waters slake the thirst
You carry in your soul

I have no idea why it's that verse out of the three that makes me start bawling. Maybe it's because it was connected to an Amnesia fanart where it showed Alexander holding his long-lost lover. It made me hurt for him and feel his pain; made me sad that he'll never have that kind of fulfillment again. Sure, he can always find someone else, but nothing quite fulfills you like your first love, and nothing quite soothes the pain of losing them.

...

... Sorry for getting a little emotional.

...

On another note, why is it that I always empathize with fictional characters, but never real people? My brother in law suggests it's because the people who create fictional characters manipulate you into feeling sorry for said characters, but I don't wish to believe that that's true. I like to believe it's because I can connect with the characters on a deeply personal, almost spiritual level. But that, my friends, is a whole other topic in and of itself.

Bran flakes are very misbehaved.

Every time I open the box they seem to just jump out on their own accord and go all over the worktop and even on the floor.

Fark, Wivenhoe has an average depth of 11 meters. That's deeper than the bay [on average]!

I am not really Christian. I am at most agnostic. I just get somewhat upset when people get Christianity wrong.

At least the whistlers have gone.

They'll probably come back during the early hours of the morning.

I don't know where they come from.

I wonder are they little spiders that climb up my nose while I'm asleep.

If they are, they're very naughty indeed!

Thinking about all these remakes Hollywood's been churning out lately, I just came to the notion that it would make an awesome crossover to have Mad Max vs. Predator vs. Robocop set on the Planet of the Apes. Optionally guest starring the Ninja Turtles.

You have to look to comic books for that kind of insanity. Much cheaper to produce.
