went to work with my uncle today, trimming trees at a random persons house.
they were a fire hazard and so they had to go.
after 3 hours we had trimmed 660 pounds worth of branches, everything was jam packed into the tiny trunk of a 2 seat toyota tacoma. we later went to the garbage... processing center (what's it called?) to unload it, where my senses were assaulted.

and i bought big paper today too.

I want some Legos, but they're hideously expensive, and I wouldn't know what to do with a set after putting it together. Just like jigsaw puzzles.

I feel that way as well. I want a simple glow in the dark Lego set.

I like this Dracula castle they've got... or the "Vampyre Castle," as they call it, but it goes for about $100. $50 would be a stretch, but $100 is just laughable.

I looked around for some kind of functional Legos, something I would actually use rather than simply build and put on a shelf, and I found a nifty little coin bank...

...which unfortunately goes for around $30 or $40. Bring it down to $20 and we'll talk.

I also found through a Google search some people making their own functional stuff out of Legos, like this key holder:

I'm sure that if Lego sold an official version, they'd sell it for at least $50.

I'll save my money for books and Blu-rays.

I never had the big stuff. I had little cars. And occasionally some sort of little structure whenever my parents were feeling particularly ritzy.

I just recently bought and played through Lego Pirates of the Caribbean on the PS3, and I'm still playing through Lego City Undercover on the Wii U. The games are much cheaper than the actual Lego sets (not factoring in the cost of the game systems, of course) and I can actually use them by playing them.

I wouldn't know what the hell to do with the actual Lego sets after building them. I was never one for "playing," even as a kid. I had toys but just sort of collected them rather than played with them.

I was too busy reading my family's encyclopedia set when I was five years old. :P
