hyperlexian, I think the crisscrossy lines were cattle trails through the grass. Kinda odd no cows were in the frame at the time, but they were grazing just out of field of view.

zena4, I love that wall crocodile! Do you remember where this is in Paris? That's cool.

Yes, I know: it's at the bottom of the Butte Montmartre but on the side which is not touristic :)
