Oh well. I've just failed finance 101 then.

I can pass company law, tax law, even got a credit for auditing, but I can't pass FIN 101 :P

^ Won't they just take a small percentage off your mark? Either way, I hope they let it slide...

Goddamn it's awesome being in the woods in the middle of the night (or, a little past such).

Walking through the paths you've made, and just switching off your light and walking via moonlight.

I have no idea why people find it scary. The city around all those people, now that's scary.

(Yeah, I just came back from a several hundred meter walk.)

I'm glad to be back among my own :) - Where I belong :)

I'm sorry all for my meltdown the other night :(

It's over now :)

Nice, I know a lot of people who think walking around at night in general is just unsettling. I love it though, because honestly we are the most dangerous thing out there at that time of night so there isn't anything to be worried about. If I lived in California or a mountain state though it might be a different story, they still have Pumas. 8O

Sometimes people just dont know what to say, its not that they dont feel pain like anyone else, or are immune to being hurt by words. With the random post type threads I don't always read whats in the post before me.

Thank you. I appreciate that :)

I have been sooo sad about Mrs. Cook.
Despite the fact that I've knew her all my life and she used to look after me when I was a toddler, ...

I'm not used to feeling like this and I don't like it. I just wish these feelings would go away.

All my life, I've wanted to be Mr. Spock! I could really use that now. :(

Once again, thank you :)

I guess as long as you're packing some type of firearm and always walking as upright as possible (I recall big cats tend to attack if you're squatting and such; if you're standing they think you're far larger than what we actually are in weight), you'd be fine there very, very close to 100% of the time.

It's kinda ironic how people feel safe around other people, but they're the most dangerous to them. Walking the cities in the middle of the night would be far more dangerous than the woods.

I scared a wallaby and heard something crawling through the brush (always hoping it's the fabled Tiger Quoll when I hear low crawling of something the size of say a cat or fox; that's my White Whale, just without the whole harpooning/killing it part).

I've been in rehab for alcoholism (and depression) and the alcaholics all say, "We all feel part of a big family because we all have the same infliction and all pretty much go through the same stuff, do the same things etc."

But I never felt that sense of 'family' like they did - and I never ever stated that I did feel that! I'm honest, if nothing else!

But here on WP, I DO feel that sense of family. That feeling of belonging! You are my clan!

This is where I belong!

Apart from my kittyCat kitten, Boo, I pretty much have no one in the world and I couldn't care less to be honest! :)

Instead of "Cheers", in my emails, I used to type "Regards" until I learned how close the g and the t buttons were to each other.

THAT was embarrassing!

:) You're welcome, like any painful loss, it takes time for those feelings to ease, be well.

I'm sorry to hear about Mrs. Cook and your struggle with your feelings of the loss. Have you tried posting in the Haven section? I posted there when I was distressed and the responses were helpful. I hope you feel better.

I hadn't thought of it but that's a very good idea.
I tend to sit on random and watch life tick by,
